The Kids first day of School

THE BIG DAY!          Cole and his friend Josh
WOW! 7th grade! I was so WORRIED for Cole starting 7th grade. The "helicopter mom" came out in me. It's just that I  want to protect him and make sure things go well. Cole adjusted to 7th grade incredibly! He LOVES 7th grade! He ended with the 1st quarter on the Honor Roll. Straight A's! yay COLE! He has already been  to his first dance. :) Happy for him! Sad for us :(  He is growing up.      Pictured: Will B, Josh M, Alec B,Justin B, and Cole.   We are super lucky to live in area with such great kids!
Ashton and Azure starting Kindergarten. I did not think I would cry...but  I cried hard when they walked through the door. I got super depressed. I came home...made caramel popcorn, cried...wondered why I was eating caramel popcorn at 9:30 am! Stopped. Fell asleep from  all my tears.  I Didn't know what to do with myself. I was sad because these two  are my little friends and even though Kindergarten is only 3 hours...It is the beginning of a new era. I did not like it. I awoke to my sister Amanda calling me wondering what I was up too. She had no idea the twins started school today. She told me she felt impressed to call. I was super grateful that she did. Thank goodness for her being in tune.
Could not get a good picture of Z. Little turkey!

WE had a TON of fun in the SUMMER

Summer began and with that so did major chores! Chores, chores, chores! Everyone one had a different assignment on a daily basis. The children would not get out of the house until they were done like 12- 1 pm!! Some would hurry fast with making their beds, brushing hair and teeth, read for 20 minutes and then chores. (Meryn and Cole) Alayda, Azure and Ashton would lally gag around until a friend came over then they were serious!. The 7 peak passes this year HELPED a ton with motivation! :) Little Mr.helping with a his broken arm
Alayda and Avery Webb. Forts, late nights, sleep overs, movies all the fun stuff summer brings!
A tour of the Post office. The kids loved it.  This is the post master with the kids.
It was pretty exciting to find our slot where they organize our mail. The kids looked for our neighbors names...The Hawkins, Thompsons  and Webbs...etc.
Ashton hung out at home a lot with his broken arm. He kept practicing his swing. He loves to play golf with his daddy and brother. It was super cute to see.

SNOW CONES!!! Hawaiian Ice. Mmmm...Yummy tigers blood! Cole was addicted to tigers blood with cream. They are so yummy! The best snow shack is in Alpine. I stayed away this summer because they are dang good and addicting!
Lady and Eva wanted to have a broken leg and arm to join Ashton so they made their casts.
Mmm...a yummy trip to the snow shack. Z, Ashton and Meryn
Jeep'n!  We love to go explore the mountains.  They are beautiful.  We love our jeep it has been  super fun. And I LOVE that Bryce can drive so well!
Girls Camp in Heber. I had mom Westcott come and help with the kids while Bryce was at work and I went to camp. It was SO much fun! I loved girls camp when I was younger.  I serve with some AMAZING  ladies! I'm missing a few...like my partner in crime Brandi! She is incredible! I love her to death. She makes me laugh so hard! (pictured) Amy B, Shannon A, Jill S, Shalmarie B, Kim E...
a view of the camp. We gathered here everyday...singing, watching skits and listening to speakers. I have to say it was a ton of fun. I haven't laughed so Hard in years!
Okay, this might be weird... this was posted in the bathrooms at camp. But I love the quotes and taking a picture was going to be the fastest way to get out of there!

We went up to A.F. Canyon for a date night. We had a yummy foil dinner and chat with our friends the Thompsons and Webbs. Awe... I love summer nights!

Holy Moly Chad! What happened to you?? So, this is my brother Chad. He had jaw surgery and this is what the result is. When Chad came over for visit... I just laughed. Rude I know. But, It was shocking. When he smiled he looked like a hill billy. He had a strong lisp and was SUPER skinny. The kids sat  across the room just staring at him. Chad was super cute about it though. It was SOO nice to see my brother Chad. I miss him dearly.
Here we are at 7 peaks! One of the many trips  there...or maybe this was Trafagla?
Lazy Sunday afternoon. Rynny came and snuggled with me.

Bryce, Alayda and Meryn were out on a date with Scott, Eva and Marli. So, the rest of us went on a jeep ride to Utah Lake. We enjoyed Cole's music ( he's seems to be the Mr. DJ whenever I drive ) and the fresh air.
Yup! A TON of late nights for the summer. Here are some of the boys...Parker S, Josh M, Conner S, Andrei, Cole, Justin B and Alec B. The boys brought over a whole bunch a treats to watch the Hunger games. Look at that floor! I have to walk away before I start cleaning!
We celebrated our 15 years and this year. I was surprised with these 2 dozen roses, dinner and an outfit. We just got back for our week in Oregon...so we did not do a  huge hurrah like we did on our 10 year.  I will have a another post on that. It was so sweet. Thank you Bryce for all your LOVE and support and for being a wonderful father! I'm luckiest girl in the world! I know! I love you boo do a.
Lady at her SOCCER camp at BYU. Lady was so excited and nervous. She had a ton of fun going for a whole week at the day camp.
the hot air balloon show that Provo has every year around the 4th of July.  I love it! We are going to have to go next year and watch them launch.

Lady getting her recognition for doing so good at soccer camp! Good job lady! We are so proud of you!
Lady and her coach. She loved him! He was super good with the kids. He plays for the BYU men's soccer.  I loved taking the kids to the college. It is good for the children to see how the world goes besides our streets in Highland.
