Grandma Patti came to visit and made yummy cookies. We love when grandma comes to bake or cook! I love her homemade bread and applesauce cookies.

September Westcott Family Reunion

Okay, so this is not in order, but dang it...I finally got this up! We had the Westcott Family Reunion in September at Lagoon. It was a complete blast! I love getting together with the Westcott's. As, you can tell this is our men at the end of the day....10pm I might add. Our kids we're spent and I'm sad to say so were we!
Azure loves Uncle Todd! He is such a great uncle to her. He has all boys so maybe this is a treat for him....maybe not though, she can be a crab lately! :O
Allyson and I. So, we all know that I am an adventurous soul. But, I have found not to many people are like me. Mmm...maybe I am the strange one?! Al and I went on the cannon ball at Lagoon where they throw you up in a ball ( as shown above) and where you think that you might be meeting your maker. Oh, my heavens that is soo intense. I laughed the whole time!! I didn't pee though, that was a good thing! :) Fun times!

Meryny's SOCCER adventure

Meryn and her friend Marli. These two girls had such a blast this year. The kids had no idea what they were doing until the end of the season. It was hilarious for the parents to watch. :)


Marli. I thought this was Meryn with Coach Doug Webb. Oh, well. Coach Webb was awesome with the kids. I could never do it! There we're A LOT of melt down's and some fighting but coach handled it well. Especially for 4 year olds!

The twins are ready to go to school! This is there first year of preschool and they love it! We love Learning Dynamics and would recommend it to anyone!

The WILD bow HUNT

We went Bow hunting in August with our good friends the Hawkins and Robison's. (Brandi's brother). We had a blast! We went down to the Monticello Mountains. This is our tradition. We went hunting, exploring, going on Wild rhino rides, Newspaper Rock in Canyon lands, went looking for dinosaur tracks, read books (the women of course!) and relaxed.

We decided to take the crew on a long wild rhino ride. I have been on this before and thought it was awesome! I forgot some parts where a little WILD. I probably conventionally forgot how adventurous it was...because I knew that Brandi wouldn't go! :) Shame on me, I know! :)

We went through a VERY wooded area. We were scraping our rhino's to get through the trees. It was very narrow, dark and adventurous!

Oh, MY LAND! This was so dang funny! Brandi and I were laughing so hard. I was acting like I was taking a picture of her to get this European. He was hilarious! Look at his stance! Look at that camera! What in the land is he doing? Really you need that kind of lense to take a picture of Newspaper Rock? Good times!

We were really lucky to have a tourist guide...Mr. Bryce Westcott to show us around Canyonlands. He showed us some awesome dinosaur tracks.
Wha la! Isn't this amazing?! Seriously! It was so awesome to be there and see this. To REALIZE that this really happened. All those books you have read about on dinosaurs...were actually true! To really see it...was AWESOME

Look closely! You can see Monument Valley. We were up high on the Mountain looking for deer, No deer but...incredible views!

We spotted this deer...thinking it was still alive! Oh, my land! This was SO good! NOT SO! This kid had the deer HEAD on this back. Climbing up the mountain like a wild man... literally on all fours. He was very proud of his success! Rightfully SO! :)

Highland Fling

Highland Fling. In Utah there is a celebration for each city in the summer months. In Highland it is the end of July. I love summers here. We get to see fireworks almost every week in the summer. It's awesome! This is Bryce at the parade wearing some advertisement for a bank.

California SUN part 1

We went on our family vacation the 18th of July through the 23rd. This is how far behind I am in getting to my blogging! (journal) Good land! You think I would keep up! Any who, we went from my grandma's funeral that was in Monticello to S.Cal. We stopped along the way to see some history sites. It was a blast to do so! Thanks to our tour guide! Bryce was way awesome! We had a great time with my sister Amanda,Jeremy & fam.

Welcome to Disneyland! Yeah! What a great time we had. We had a 5 day pass and I think we have mastered how to go! I love this place!
