A trip to Telluride

WeLCoMe to Telluride! We came at the perfect week. Gay skiing week. Holy moly we saw some things. We didn't know. The best entertaining one was a man dressed as a women with the whole sha bang. Sequence hot pink dress (short) with nylons, Ultra bright green bob hair. And WOW can that lady/man ski! We had a AWESOME time! The snow was perfect, the company too, our cabin was peaceful and beautiful. Great food. It was a blast. We went down on a Thursday (the end of February) and came home late Sunday night. My sweet sister in law watched Meryn and the twins for us. Thank YOU so much Kristin we OWE you big time! Yahoo! We plan to go again next year with Todd & Amy (Bryce's brother).
Our view from our cabin. Beautiful isn't it?!
I met up with the boys for lunch in the middle of the mountain at this lodge. Bryce & Cole just got off this double black diamond. They were pretty exhausted when I saw them. We had yummy chili bowls. I enjoyed snowboarding with my guys but, I tend to hold them up so I went alone most of the time. I prefer it that way! They are way to good and I'm just learning this new sport. Come on boys give me a break!
Cousins. Drew, Clayton & Cole. (the other 2 cousins were out skiing) All of Todd & Amy's kids ski. Cole and I were the only ones snowboarding.

Bryce & Todd. Do you think Todd is a little cold?!
Lady posing for us.
Alayda with her ski instructor. She was awesome. Alayda loved her! We were lucky to have her for 2 days!
Bryce refused to take off his goggles. So there you have it. :)

Lady in Telluride after her ski lessons.
The FASHION show! My cousin Kandee is the founder and organizer of this benefit. A benefit for AIDS. She raised $130,000. last year! Great job Kandee! ...I ran into my cousins while we were in Telluride. I got to go back stage and see how things went. It was awesome! Models all over the place with their clothing to wear. I was proud of Kandee for putting on such a big hit! It was fun to see all the details of a fashion show.
Larque displaying the items the models are to wear. This is not such a great quality of picture....It was taken with my phone.
My cousins. Sunday, Larque & Kandee. I am grateful that our family has family reunions every other year. I love these ladies!

Our babies are 3!! Happy Birthday Azure & Ashton!

Happy day! We can't believe how much these 3 years have gone by! It has been a blast to watch their progression. They protect each other over everything and will fight each other over a toy. Their laughter echoes through our home. You know when they are up because you can hear those little feet running down the hall. Azure has learned to slam the door and throw a fit when she is sent to her room. She loves babies and all girlie stuff. Ashton can brake almost anything. He is a ultimate explorer. He is 100% boy & Bryce! He runs down the hall pretending he is the "cycle ride"(motorcycle). We are EXTREMELY blessed to have these 2 in our lives. They bring much joy. Happy 3rd Birthday Azure & Ashton.

They shared a bassinet together for 3 months.
Their 3rd Birthday

We found these cute fun hats at grandma Westcott's house. The twins loved them. These two are hilarious together! We love to watch them interact with each other.

Good bye Grandma & "Chops"

Good bye Grandma & "Chops"! (this is what Ashton calls my dad) My parents moved back to California in January. They moved to help my mom's parents. My grandma has Alzheimer's. It was sad to see them go but, we know that they are in the right place at the right time.

Ashton...doesn't his smile and eyes get ya?!
Meryn looking at little surprised
Okay, so Alayda wanted me to get a picture in the air of her.
Alayda and grandma having a tea party. My mom called to see if she could have a tea party with the kids before she moved. The kids loved it. We made it really fun for their last hoorah with grandma.
Alayda made this in her primary class and uses this for a necklace. She loves her new teachers!

Skiing at Sundance

Cole getting ready to go snowboarding. Bryce and I decided that we needed to go back to our roots...skiing, mountain biking...you know more physical activity. Well, this is really Bryce that I am talking about not me. I have been skiing before but, not a lot and I do NOT go mountain biking. Bryce was way into all of this before we got married....So, with this goal. We got Cole and I in lesson's for snowboarding and got up on that mountain. My instructor was a young kid...and hard core. He could careless that I was scared to death and that I was a mother of 5!!He said the only way for me to learn is to get up there! So, there you have it. It has been a ton of fun and way challenging for me. I like it a lot. Bryce is a way good skier. I tend to hold up my boys so I just tell them to go ahead. I hate when people have to wait around for me OR they are telling me what to do. I don't know. I guess I don't deal with authority to much...
Me
Bryce and Cole...we are headed up the mountain!
The famous 1970's suit. As you can tell this is taken with a phone....
The crew getting ready
My dad and brother

Um, yes this is my brother. He came out in a 1970's ONE PIECE ski suit. All polyester! Bryce and I laughed SO hard. Oh, my heck it was funny! I kind of felt bad for our reaction to his suit but my brother LOVES his suit. Dude it's a classic and a must see! :)
