And we are off! Bryce and Cole wanted to hike Havasupai. They made plans with my brother Christopher to go. I have realized that Cole is getting older on us and I did not want to miss out on his life and his fun adventures. So, I decided to go...lady and I both. We drove all the way to Arizona. 11 hrs.
All smiles for now... this is at the top of the canyon. My love and I
yay! Holy Moly! After 11 MILES of hiking down to the bottom... our first site of water was Havasu Falls. I was beginning to think we were lied to. All we were seeing was red sand and rock for HOURS. So, when we saw this...it was a breath taking view. We stopped for a moment and took a few pictures and then proceeded to hike down to the camp ground. What we still had another mile to hike? ** lady was a trooper! She rocked it! We were so proud of her***
Havasu Falls
Our beautiful camp ground...See the hammocks and table? This is where we lived for 4 days.
10 feet where from our camp ground

Having a party! Bryce, Cole, lady and I
The next day we hiked down to Mooney Falls. WE ( I ) had no idea what I was getting into...
happiness before....
we went in and out of rocks to get to this place...
and to my complete surprise and fright...we had to hike down this. BACKWARDS. Yes, you read that right. You had to rely on these poles and chains that were drilled into the rock to guide you down. WHAT? I was terrified.
After I stopped shaking from fear... I did have a moment to take a picture of the view
see those specs down below? That is people watching us come down.
At last! After the major intense moment, we arrived. Breath taking and beautiful....Mooney Falls
Love his smile! :)
lady was so happy.
Alayda loved jumping off this little fall. She jumped at least 10 times off it.
After hiking and playing in Mooney. We came to camp and relaxed. I loved the hammocks over the water. It was soothing. great place to take a nap
lady fell asleep fast
Love this picture of Bryce. Havasu Falls
cousin time. Todd and his family came to play. Cole, Drew, Alayda and Darrin

Christopher, Uncle Craig Boyce, Corrine, & Josh. We met up with my Uncle and cousins for this great adventure.
Mikel basking in the sun
My cousins...Clark ready to bail off the cliff and Eric climbing it
Clark in action. These boys have no fear.
my love has had it. After hiking 30 miles in 4 days we were a little spent.
My family...Bryce, me, Eric, Clark, Uncle Craig, Josh and Brandon. They are guys are studs. love them
Bug was such a trooper! She was amazing. She only had a little melt down and was fine after that.
Bryce, Vance, Todd, Dad W. and Cole...waiting for the helicopter. Yes, It was a must for me. The hike down was awesome! But I was not about to hike up. It was too much. I was grateful Winny had to fly up...it gave me a excuse to go too. I convinced Bryce and Cole to fly out of there.
Complete happiness and smiles! We didn't have to hike out of there! I am so grateful we got to tag along with the boys. It was beautiful and amazing. We had such a great time. And worth every penny to FLY out. :) I guess I better start getting in better shape.( hiking) That's what my boys like to do. May 2013

And they are off...
This is how happy they were when I dropped them off at the airport on their way to Europe. So happy for them!
My sweet parents had the opportunity to go to Europe for a month. They actually left at the end of March 2013. This post is out of order. But, I couldn't resist not to post. I love these pictures of them in Paris! So happy for them to see this magnificent world.

Always love to see our children perform. Every year at Freedom the kiddos perform for their last hurrah. Another year has come and gone. The twinners go to 1st grade, Meryny to 2nd and Lady to 4th. I know you can't stop time...so we try to enjoy every minute with them.
