Dear SaNta ClaUs,

Our letters to Mr. Santa ClaUs. This was our family home evening night. We had a lot of fun other than me bombing the cookies!:(
After making our Santa letters and cookies. The kids and Bryce sat down for some delicious hot chocolate.
Here we are making cookies. What great helpers!
So here are the nasty cookies we made...the one good thing was that the frosting was good. I don't know what happened! When we opened the oven they were connected into one big cookie. So, with disappointment Cole came up with a great idea. We cut the cookies back into shape. Great thinking Cole! HELP! I need a new sugar cookie recipe. I really boomed that one! Back to the good O'l days of Charlie Brown's Chistmas...We forgot how funny this show was! I laughed really hard. Luckily, the kids liked the show too!

Christmas lights at Temple Square

Our beautiful Salt Lake Temple. We went to temple square the weekend after Thanksgiving with Bryce's sister Jen and her family. We just took Cole and lady...It was such a warm night. We walked around and took a carriage ride around the grounds and then to top of the night we stopped and got Hot Chocolate.
Cole and Dillon. Lots of people think these two look a like. Good looking boys... you think?

Us, REMODELING again?

So, you can call us crazy because we are! We decided to put new floors in. We almost took all the carpet out of the main floor and put wood in. We have one room carpeted and that is ours. We did one room at a time. I think we got in a little over our heads and had to call our "Roll Dogs"in. We had one room to finish but we ran out of time. We had reservations in St. George for the 4 days so we just packed up and left. We were SO looking forward to this vacation! We worked so hard the past 4 days in putting these floors in. We were excited to see the SUN! But, I got so sick. I had one good day in St. George. I was determined that the family still have a good time and made Bryce stay until Sunday when we were to leave. Monday Bryce was to go back to work but I was worse. So poor Bryce took 3 days off to help me, my sister in law came over on Monday (ALL DAY) until 10pm to help out(THANKS AL) so Bryce could finish the last room. Thanks Booa! He worked his tail off! We are grateful to be done! It nearly killed me so...we might take a break on home projects for a bit. You think!
This is the dining room our first room to do. Little did we know what we were getting ourselves into! Here are the end results! Our dining room.
Our Family room. We love the floors it brings a cozy atmosphere to the home. Now I am more of a freak then ever in keeping the children, sippy cups and toys down stairs!
Azure & Ashton's room. It has been fun doing it! I'm almost done.:)

HaPpy HallOwEen

HaPPy HalloWeEn! We had such a great time. Here is Cole dressed as Elvis. When he told us he wanted to be Elvis we were a little concerned where to get a outfit. We went to the speciality store's they had Elvis costumes but for 2 year old. We finally went to Target and they had a adult size so with a little modification we got the request accomplished! Thank goodness for Target it never fails us! It was a lot of fun this year to dress the kids maybe because they were really into it this year!
Cole is such an old spirit! It was fun to dress him up this year!
Our little ELVIS with his moves.
Elvis(Cole) at the school parade.
Alayda and Meryn. Lady was going to school and Meryn wanted her costume on as well but she was not completely ready for the big day.
Here we are! We had a great Halloween. The weather was great! We could really wear our costumes without coats.
Getting ready to trick or treat. Do you see what Alayda is doing? I have no clue where she learned that.We did not dress up the twins I think that they are to young to do it. It was a great time.

Carving Pumpkins

Okay, so I am posting so late. We have been way to busy. It has been such a long time since we did this. We carved pumpkins for FHE and it was a lot of fun. The kids got to do their own.

Our Annual Deer Hunt

My Dear Grandma Lyman(Himmelberger). She is going to be 95 in January. I told her we should have a big celebration but she said no maybe when she's 96! I always love to go see Grandma when we are in Monticello. Such a beautiful example to me... We go to Monticello for Bryce's annual deer hunt. The kids and I usually tag along with him. I know that it is his time and so we find stuff to do while he is out. He always goes with his father. This year he didn't get a tag though(because of me). But, we decided to go anyway. I am glad we did we always have such a great time.

Vance and Cole. This is our cousin Vance. He is one of the 4 sons of Bryce's brother Todd. They are such cute boys. We loved seeing them when we were down. Cole is ALWAYS wanting to play with his cousins! He loves these guys so much. It's great to have family!
Tiny tine tine.
Our lady bug.
Alayda and Darrin. Grandma Westcott raked leaves for the kids to roll around in. They had a lot of fun!
This was our campsite on the Blue Mountains. It is one of the most beautiful places on the Earth. There is so much diversity here. You can see canyon lands from our spot called 70's flat. It truly is a hidden secret. I always love to come to Monticello the fresh crisp fall air, the smell of burning wood, the leaves changing colors, the small town atmosphere. Bryce has his parents, brother, sister and grandma and I have my grandparents, and two aunts that live here. So, it's kind of like home. Beautiful place to see!
Cole...the coolest little guy we know!

You can always put a camera up to your face and your guaranteed that Alayda will already have a smile. You can't tell we take a lot of picture's can you!
Meryn wasn't really into smiling at the time. It's to bad she has such a great smile!
Azure... this is the best picture we could get of her! Of course. She is always throwing a face!
Ashton our cute little man!

Um, It should Not be snowing on October 12!

When we woke up Sunday morning there was a blanket of snow. All Alayda wanted to do was to go play in it. So, Bryce told her if she got her winter gear on he would go out with her. When I went to capture the moment taking picture's they threw snowball's at me! Ha, Ha. Funny! We were glad that the snow was not sticking. I am NOT ready for winter!

Bryce and Alayda with their little snowman. Too cute! I love their relationship. Alayda is totally a daddy's girl. She has his number and everyone knows it!
