First Day of school
Yes, I know the date is dated November 9th! No, this is not the first day of school for the kids. I am a little behind in posting picture's. Ah, let's say 2 month's behind!Silerton and Ouray Colorado
Durango, Colorado. So, all these picture's are from my phone. I can not find the sweet picture's I took with our camera!! So, frustrating! I have the Sim card I took them on but, some how they are lost! Sad! Just my luck lately! Oh, well...........
Alayda, Ashton & Meryn loved these horses we HAD to get on them. We just got off the train from Silverton to Durango. We were waiting for Bryce and Todd to get back from the museum. The kids did not last long there. So, this entertained us for a while.
Bryce, lady, Ashton and Azure walking Main St. in Silverton, Co.
Azure and Ren. I love this smile of Meryn!
Azure and Meryn...the picture's are a little blurry it's with my phone.
Bryce with little Ashton on Main St. in Ouray
Ouray,Colorado... a very quaint town.
We went in September with Todd and Amy to Silverton and Ouray. Bryce posted the train ride with a video clipping earlier in October. The fall colors were gorgeous! It was a little bit cold but, it was still nice. The "Million Dollar Highway" was beautiful! A little scary but, good. We have been to Ouray a lot with Bryce's family. (his parents live about 3 hours away.) Ouray has natural hot springs there. It's huge with 4 different pools and slides, etc. It is a very beautiful town/area. We had such a great time! We always do when your with good company! :)Another Bear Lake getaway...this time with our friends
The captain of our ship! My hubby! :DFamily Time at LAKE POWELL
We had such a great time with Todd, Amy & fam! (Bryce's brother) We went down on a Thursday night Bryce,Cole, Alayda, Meryn and I.We took our trailer and made the ferry to cross the lake to Halls Crossing. Todd and Amy met us there. They brought their boat. Good trade off huh?! We thought so. We went exploring the lake on Friday. My brother in law knows all the "HOT SPOTS"! We saw such beautiful land marks, coves, place's to swim, place's for great shade! My favorite place I got to see was HOLE IN THE ROCK. Todd took us over here and I immediately felt some kind of sacredness. This is where my my great, great grandpa; Platt D. Lyman came down from this major cliff to settle the San Juan county. He was one of the first pioneers to do so. Looking at the cliff from the lake was an unbelievable site! How in the heck could they do that? Todd ( who knows all) he really he does! Just like Bryce...told me a lot about the history of these pioneers. He said that we were 30 higher in the water from the bottom of the lake. I can not really comprehend what these great and noble men & women went through. I have had such admiration for the experience, faith in God to do this mission...On a much lighter note on Saturday we played a lot on the water. We had such a great time! On Saturday night we ended up going to Monticello to stay the night and then headed back to home later on that evening. I can not find my picture's that I thought I had. I took so many too. So, I will just have to update later! :[ Yeah, also this was in August too. I am way behind trying to catch up on my "journal"!
