Santa Claus came!

Christmas is always fun to give. Santa helpers went to bed around 2am and got woke up by Cole at 5:30! This sweet little man of ours set both Bryce and I's iPhone's, iPad, all the kids alarms at 5:30 AM. He did this without us knowing! Pretty clever of him. I know it was because we had church at 9 and we  told the kids we will have to see in opening presents before or after church.  Of coarse not. The kiddos could not wait! Who could blame them? It was a beautiful peaceful morning. We did unwrap our presents before church...got ready had a lovely sacrament meeting and then came home to enjoy the rest of the day. It was filled with laughter, peace and sleepiness. I am grateful for our savior Jesus Christ and his life. He is my brother and friend. I am grateful to have him apart of my life. I am grateful for Bryce, my love and my friend! I am grateful for our 5 beautiful children! They are all such great kids. We are lucky to have them in our lives!

The Night BeFore Christmas

It is our family tradition to open  one gift for on Christmas eve. Even daddy got pj's.
 Master Cole
 Lady Bug
 Rynny
 Z
 Ashton
Oh, how we LOVE  being Santa's elf's! It is so much fun. Late hours in the night and endless shopping is WELL worth the morning of Christmas!
Late at night when all is quiet we get to enjoy this beautiful Christmas tree. The lights representing the Light of Christ, The tree pointing to heaven, The star shining bright reminding us of that night long ago..when the savior was born. Christmas is such a wonderful, peaceful time of year.
Could not leave out this picture! To funny.
Our beautiful family...all smiles the night before Christmas.  We LOVE YOU.

Elfy Elf Sparky

We welcomed Mr. Elfy Elf Sparky to our family this year. WE received him in the mail from grandma Lyman one day. She met him at Target. We got to name him. So the kids got named him... Elfy Elf Sparky.  Alayda named him Elfy Elf and Ryn Sparky. So there you have it. Elfy Elf sets somewhere in the house and watches the children to see if they have been bad or good that day. Then he goes back to report to Santa Claus. Everyday he is somewhere different. The children loved it. One night Elfy Elf Sparky decided to have a tea party with Mr. Ashton's Woody, Buzz Light (er) so he calls him and Pig...the tea set is the curiosity  of Azure's.

Sledding & Snowmans for our WinTer FuN

We have a fabulous hill by our home. When we receive  the first fall...we hurry to get the fresh powder. The children love to sled on this hill. Nothing beats lots of laughter and smiles this = A Perfect day. :)
Rynny,  Z and Ashton wanted to build a snowman. It was a very cold day with the snow falling and the wind blowing. But, it was fun. I'm pretty lame at building one. We did not have daddy or Cole around to help us. So, we had to settle with my expertise! ;) I do know how to dress one though. This is Mr. Carrot Nose...At least that is what they named him. Well, worth it for some warm hot chocolate and cookies!

Wow! This tree was SO big we could not even get it in the picture. We were doing our last bit of Christmas shopping when the girls wanted a picture.

Rynny's first tooth lost!

Yup, at the age of 6 and few days before Christmas. Rynny lost her tooth. The tooth fairy brought her a sparkly dollar. Lucky gal!
