A Deer Hunt that went bad...

Bryce and Ashton. This is the ONLY picture I got of the deer hunt. It was taken with my phone. So, I was so proud of myself. I packed the "whole world" and was so prepared for this trip to make it a blast. It started out great. We set up camp. Made an AWESOME fort for the kids to play in! Went down the mountain to Bryce's parent's house to make his mom's FAMOUS sugar cookies. (they are divine) Played with lots of the cousin's.Visited my grandma a couple of times...and then it started. I could not breath on Sunday. Oh, my heck. I thought it was just the elevation or something...So, I had two breathing treatments; that helped for the night and then on Monday morning I was hating it! Bryce went out hunting in the morning and then to help his brother by the time he got back...I was not doing good. So, we packed up real quick and left. Our trip that was to last us until that Thursday was cut short 4 days! I felt so bad for Bryce. I could not even sit in the truck. I made Bryce let me sleep in the trailer on the way home. It turned out I had H1N1...along with Alayda and Azure. Man does it take you down! My dear sweet husband stayed home with us the whole week from his hunt and work to take care of us. I was LITERALLY down for a week. Bryce took care of everything. He was so kind. He would bring in trays of food, word search, magazines, sprite and a mini light for reading...that I never got to. Anyway, I so DESTROYED that hunt! The one trip Bryce looks forward too! Maybe next time I will stay home!
Helping Hands
This sum's up Ashton's personality! He always has a smile on his face and is always into things. Bryce re stained our swing on a October Saturday...We were doing our "fall clean up". They boys (Bryce and Cole) had a tee time so I was to just finish up the last touches on the swing. The kids and I made the rest of the afternoon into a fun cleaning and painting adventure. I had to stop and take picture's of course with my phone! Why I love UTAH!
Bridal Vail Falls, Provo. On a lovely October Sunday afternoon when everyone else in the state decided to take a ride through the Alpine loop we did too! Oh, my heck it was so busy. But, absolutely beautiful! The kids brought their bikes so we could ride from the top of the parking lot of Bridal Vail Falls to the bottom. This season is one of my favorite's! I love the 4 seasons Utah has. I love it here!

The Alpine loop
One of my favorite tree's. I love the Aspen tree. There are a few reason's why...My grandma Lyman would take us (my sibling's and cousin's my age) up to the mountain's a lot for a picnic. "The Blue Mountain's of Monticello". One of the most beautiful mountain's in the United States that is! j/k No, really I am not. Anyway, I remember that there were so many of these trees when I would go to the mountain. I love the sound of the leaves brushing in the wind, the different color of leaves when fall sets in. The white trunk. The distinctive smell (like dirt). Maybe all these things of the tree remind me of such a sweet life and opportunity I had to go with my grandma up to the mountain...we would make fort's and play in the stream. All this for a tree?!Monday, November 9, 2009
A day at Snowbird Resort with my Bryce!
Us! Taking the lift up to Alpine slides. It was such nice weather. It was nice to get a way with just us. I forgot how beautiful Snowbird is! I never get up there because I am always in my "little territory" of being a mom. You know...your neighborhood grocery store's, school, etc. One day Cole said he was sick of driving the same streets. What do you say to that? Sorry, little dude I'll try to get you out more! :)
