We love Sundays

Yup, had to get a picture of these cute kids while they were waiting to go into sacrament.  I have a love hate relationship for Sundays. I love going to church and being spiritually being uplifted. It makes the week complete . The peace in the home and the time we can all be together for Sundays. The yummy Sundays dinners which typically are bigger than the weekdays.  The naps, playing puzzles, playing board games, riding bikes as a family, go on a Sunday walk, take a drive or visit family or friends. Bryce and I agreed that Sunday is a NO electronic day. Therefore it gives us time to be with each other instead of being entertained by a electronic.

Holy Moly we have a teenager!

 Happy Birthday to this coolest kid ever! Cole we can't believe you are a teenager!

 Holy moly...It's like he grew two feet in the 7th grade. I know at least his feet grew 3 1/2 sizes! What the? How is that possible? I couldn't keep up with the jeans...it seems like every month his jeans were getting shorter and  I was shrinking. He was finally my height. It was a sad day when that happened! Ugh.

 Cole's ULTIMATE fave place to eat is RED LOBSTER. His fave plate...the ultimate feast! This kid can eat the whole thing! Good land. We asked him what he wanted for his birthday...his request was  to have a day alone with him with  no other children. Awe. We we're so grateful to go out with him for a day and enjoy the alone time we had with him.

Cole got to celebrate his birthday 3 times. His friend's dads birthday was close to his. The Monson's asked us to come celebrate. It was super fun and we are grateful for Jodie's delish food! You rock Jodie! Thank you for your kindness.

4.) He is a great babysitter.(All our friends ask for him)

HaPpY BirthDay Meryn

 This sweet little 7 year old wanted to go shopping and pick out what she wanted this year instead of us buying something. (oh, man we are in trouble!) So, all of us girls got dressed up and went shopping. It was super fun to see what she liked. The sun glasses were a must along with everything else. Good thing for budgets!

A little mommy and daughter date

 Had a great time with my lady bug on our little Mother and daughter date. We learned how to be a lady, ate some delish food and did crafts. I loved having one on one time with lady. She is such a sweetheart, super sensitive and caring. She tucked me into bed one night when I was sick...brought me water and crackers and turned on my (must have nightly) fan. She writes me love notes and tell me how great I am. I am so grateful that  you are in our lives! She is a total daddy's girl so, I was grateful for this moment. Thanks bug for the good time! You make me smile. :) When I look at you I can see myself...but you are an "old soul" and much wiser. I love you.  - mom     *** We don't get that much. So, it was super fun for us. :)

This man

Dear Bryce,

Do you know that I carry this picture in my wallet? Yup, for years now...at least 10. It was one of my favorite dating memories of us. You came to visit me in Cal. You drove with  Christopher from  Logan, Utah. You were on  spring break for school. You jumped in your Jeep and drove all night to see me! We went to Yosemite for the weekend with Chad and Cameron. It was awesome! I think that was when you decided you wanted to be with me forever! (at least this is what you said) :) haha. I jumped off cliffs and swam in the waterfall with you and my brothers. We had a really deep conversation about the gospel and saw the biggest Orange moon ever! I've been reflecting on us and on you. I guess Bryce Westcott I just want you to know I love you! You are such a amazing person. You have a huge heart and are the hardest worker ever! You have given up things that you like and our passionate about to help raise your family. Not only do I admire you as a person but as a father. Your children adore you and want to be with you always. They like you! Cole is willing to work along your side just so he can be with you. You defiantly know how to work hard and play hard. :) I appreciate the relationship we have with our children.  I appreciate You! I am grateful to have you in my life. I love you Bryce. Thank you for your love, forgiveness, your compassion, and your example. Thank you for loving our savior and try to follow his example.
