Our Annual Deer Hunt

My Dear Grandma Lyman(Himmelberger). She is going to be 95 in January. I told her we should have a big celebration but she said no maybe when she's 96! I always love to go see Grandma when we are in Monticello. Such a beautiful example to me... We go to Monticello for Bryce's annual deer hunt. The kids and I usually tag along with him. I know that it is his time and so we find stuff to do while he is out. He always goes with his father. This year he didn't get a tag though(because of me). But, we decided to go anyway. I am glad we did we always have such a great time.

Vance and Cole. This is our cousin Vance. He is one of the 4 sons of Bryce's brother Todd. They are such cute boys. We loved seeing them when we were down. Cole is ALWAYS wanting to play with his cousins! He loves these guys so much. It's great to have family!
Tiny tine tine.
Our lady bug.
Alayda and Darrin. Grandma Westcott raked leaves for the kids to roll around in. They had a lot of fun!
This was our campsite on the Blue Mountains. It is one of the most beautiful places on the Earth. There is so much diversity here. You can see canyon lands from our spot called 70's flat. It truly is a hidden secret. I always love to come to Monticello the fresh crisp fall air, the smell of burning wood, the leaves changing colors, the small town atmosphere. Bryce has his parents, brother, sister and grandma and I have my grandparents, and two aunts that live here. So, it's kind of like home. Beautiful place to see!
Cole...the coolest little guy we know!

You can always put a camera up to your face and your guaranteed that Alayda will already have a smile. You can't tell we take a lot of picture's can you!
Meryn wasn't really into smiling at the time. It's to bad she has such a great smile!
Azure... this is the best picture we could get of her! Of course. She is always throwing a face!
Ashton our cute little man!

Um, It should Not be snowing on October 12!

When we woke up Sunday morning there was a blanket of snow. All Alayda wanted to do was to go play in it. So, Bryce told her if she got her winter gear on he would go out with her. When I went to capture the moment taking picture's they threw snowball's at me! Ha, Ha. Funny! We were glad that the snow was not sticking. I am NOT ready for winter!
Alayda and her daddy.
Bryce and Alayda with their little snowman. Too cute! I love their relationship. Alayda is totally a daddy's girl. She has his number and everyone knows it!

Making Thai food.

Our Chef Ty. Ty went on a mission to Thailand so he learned how to make the food. This is our brother in law's brother (so family). Thank you Ty for you time. We had a lot of fun with you! We decided to shake up our traditional conference dinner (pot roast) and make something different. It was a lot of prepping and fast cooking. We had a great time. We fed all the kids and put the little ones to bed. So, we got to have a quite dinner. I even turned on some jazz music, you know... something for the back ground.
This is us peeling the flour rice noodles. It took the longest in prepping.

Alayda jumped right in and learned how to cook. She always does.

I love this smile of my booa. Such a great smile! He would get mad at me if he saw the blog with me displaying one of my nicknames for him!
Here we are getting ready to feast... Bryce, Ty, Allyson and Spencer. Wahla! Here is the final result. It turned out so good. This is 4 dishes we made. It was so much food! What a perfect ending to a perfect day!

Conference Weekend

Meryn. Our children love the foot long roll ups.
This is a picture of the pre-conference party. It was on Friday when it all started. We had Bryce's sister Allyson and her husband Spencer come over for the weekend. This is our nephew Isley.
Conference weekend is always so good. It was such a great 2 days of uplifting! We really enjoyed the talks. It rained all day on Saturday and we were getting stir crazy by the end of the last session. I was grateful that the rain let up so we could go outside and embrace some fresh air. This is a picture of Ashton. Every Conference weekend we get See's suckers. It is a Westcott family tradition that I try to carry on. Yum, they are good! As you can see he is loving it!
Ashton and Azure eating their suckers. Such a mess! At least it was contained.
Azure eating her sucker. She is in heaven and if you know Azure you will know that she is. She loves food.
Azure. She is so stinking funny! She is always making faces!
Cole and Ashton. He is such a great big brother.
Little Ashton to cute...not to post.
I could not believe this was her natural pose laying on her daddy.I had to get a picture.
Bryce went to go lay down and the kids started coming in. Our bed always seems to be the melding pot! We always wake up to someone in our bed in the middle of the night.

Yeah! We finally replaced our lost camera!

I lost our camera up in Bear Lake this summer. I was so bummed! I even cried about it. ( Yes, I'm a little sensitive) It has taken me a while to replace it. We finally claimed it on our insurance because even though we have to pay a deductible it was still worth paying! So, after some research of the best camera to get for us we ordered it. It came yesterday and I am so happy! So, Yeah I will be taking pictures and posting more...hopefully!:)
