Merry Christmas 2009

Bryce and lady having a Tea party....Alayda was dying to have a tea set. Her grandma Westcott bought her one for Christmas. She loves it! She invited her father to come and have one. Bryce is ALWAYS such a great daddy about paying attention to the kids or playing with them...maybe because he is still one.
I love this picture of Bryce and Azure.
The kids looking at the fun doll...Renny got.
Cole got a huge radio with all the bells and whistles! He loves it! Cole is way into music. I don't know if we regret getting this for him....he BLASTS this radio anytime he gets. The up stair floor vibrates! Are you serious? He is only 10 years old! But, at night he seems to redeem his self by playing Mormon Tabernacle quietly to go to sleep. His favorite song....Consider the lillie's of the field. He's such a great kid.
Our Colei Pokei..
So, the hair is quite messy but, the excitement is still there! Alayda LOVES her present Santa brought her.
I love this picture of Alayda.
Meryn was kind of scared of her doll Santa brought her. It talks, walks and sits down. We finally got her to like it! Sad we had to convince our child to like her doll.
Our little man. I love his smile!
Azure with her "twin babies" boy & girl.
Azure...all smiles on Christmas day.
The most beautiful part of Christmas is celebrating our Savior's birth. What a beautiful season and what a beautiful person. We are so grateful for our Savior and his example to us. No other man has brought more good. We know we have been extremely blessed! For our freedoms, for our health and for each other.

The Forgotten Carols

I decided that I would surprise the family and take them to "The Forgotten Carols". Well, some of the family...no children under 5 can come. I had fun surprising them. We went to dinner at Pounders YUM. Everyone was asking me where we were going but, I was so good!! :D I didn't tell a soul until we got in the building and they saw what we were doing. We loved it! It brought such a sweet spirit into this season. I love the Forgotten Carols. I think Michael McLean was truly inspired.

The ROAD back home...

This is on my four mile walk. I often reflect on the "straight and narrow" road back home. There are lots of curves and bumps along the way...trying to sway us from returning home. I'm so grateful for the gospel in my life and for the MANY people who been an example to me.

A Deer Hunt that went bad...

Bryce and Ashton. This is the ONLY picture I got of the deer hunt. It was taken with my phone. So, I was so proud of myself. I packed the "whole world" and was so prepared for this trip to make it a blast. It started out great. We set up camp. Made an AWESOME fort for the kids to play in! Went down the mountain to Bryce's parent's house to make his mom's FAMOUS sugar cookies. (they are divine) Played with lots of the cousin's.Visited my grandma a couple of times...and then it started. I could not breath on Sunday. Oh, my heck. I thought it was just the elevation or something...So, I had two breathing treatments; that helped for the night and then on Monday morning I was hating it! Bryce went out hunting in the morning and then to help his brother by the time he got back...I was not doing good. So, we packed up real quick and left. Our trip that was to last us until that Thursday was cut short 4 days! I felt so bad for Bryce. I could not even sit in the truck. I made Bryce let me sleep in the trailer on the way home. It turned out I had H1N1...along with Alayda and Azure. Man does it take you down! My dear sweet husband stayed home with us the whole week from his hunt and work to take care of us. I was LITERALLY down for a week. Bryce took care of everything. He was so kind. He would bring in trays of food, word search, magazines, sprite and a mini light for reading...that I never got to. Anyway, I so DESTROYED that hunt! The one trip Bryce looks forward too! Maybe next time I will stay home!
