Summer Time... dutch oven

We went up to American Fork canyon and for a dutch oven with my parents. It is such a beautiful canyon we always like to go up there. It is getting harder to find any spots any more due to so many people out! We decide to go into a camp ground to cook. There was one spot left and we took it for a couple of hours. We were greatful no one claimed it until we left! Um, maybe we will not be doing this again at least on a Sunday afternoon.
Okay, so we had to get creative in entertaining the kids while our dutch oven cooked so we gave each of the kids a spoon to dig with. They loved it.

Azure, Ashton and Cole digging with their spoons.
Dad and Bryce playing cards while the dinner's cooking.

Neighborhood clean up...

We decide to have a neighbor hood clean up for the poor house that is across the street from us. It has been vacant for about a year. As you can see the grass is dead and if you even walked by it, It would start on fire. The weeds took over and it just looked so sad with no love at all! So, we decided to have a clean up over there for FHE we even turned on the sprinklers... you have to do it manualy so that is one of Cole's jobs now. We had such a great turn out! Thank You everyone for your help. You too Brandi Hawkins!(She came early in the morning to pull weeds because she was not going to be there in the evening).
Our neighboor Mike Sandstrom & Bryce
Christina Rolapp cleaning away.

Boot's.....Is this not the cutest ever?

Okay, so I totally went over board in posting these pictures. But, they were so darn cute! Bryce came home yesterday with these John Deere boots for Azure & Ashton. He told me he could not resist. If I were there I would not be able too! They are just so cute in these. We had a great time cooing and laughing at them trying to walk. What a cute daddy to think of these!

BEAR HUNT but no bear

Bryce and Cole went on a bear hunt with our good friends Randy and his son Gabe Young. They went up in the north panel of Idaho. Bryce said it was very remote. They had such a great time....They stayed in a lodge and got fed like kings....then they would go off for the hunt 6 hours in a blind every day. They did not see a bear but they did see some wild life. They enjoyed the time together.
