Aloha! A trip to paradise...

Finally! It has taken me a while to post something! I know, I know! So, this is back in July over the 24th. Bryce and I decided to go to Hawaii. We went to the North Shore and stayed at Turtle Bay Resort. It was absolutely beautiful. We had a great time. It was so nice to just relax! We went kayaking, snorkeling, exploring, touring the island and much more. Our favorite part was snorkeling!
The beautiful temple. We had some picture's of us in front of the temple but I am not going to share those with you!
The temple grounds..
Pearl Harbor...taking a boat ride to the USS Arizona.
Bryce viewing the names of those who died at Pearl Harbor.
If you look close you can see the ship in the water...erry!
You know we had to get a game in! So, why not at the "Arnold Palmer" course? It was 2 minutes away and the resort drives you there.
Bryce playing his ultimate sport!
It totally rained on us. Our clothes where all stretched out and wet. We were aware that this kind of weather is normal.
The "pig". I am actually proud of myself for eating meat now. When I came to Hawaii um, maybe 16 years ago with my dance team I was totally grossed out! Now, I can accept that we "normal" humans eat meat! It took a wonderful patient husband to show me the "real world"! ha ha
This is US! Do you like how my face is burnt? When ever we go on vacation we always rent a convertible. You know just to keep us young! Anyway, I always wanted the top down and boy did I get what I deserved! I could barley allow the flower "lea" by my face. I was so burnt!
The Polynesian Culture Center. Another beautiful land that the "church" owns. Nice and clean! :
One of the original boats that came to the Hawaiian islands. Amazing!
Ewe la la! The Tahitian dancers where the best! They are the one's that shake those hips! :)
Ahh...Hawaii has the most beautiful sunset's! I have lots of picture's but this one was my favorite! See the reflection of the sun in the water?!
Another beautiful picture...
This is one of the view's from our resort. We had such a wonderful time! We often reflect on how relaxed and peaceful it was there! We SO want to go back soon! :)

LYMAN REUNION...VIMASHLAPAJATARO

Every reunion there is two quilts that grandma makes. Of course we all want one so put in our money and get a raffle ticket. This is where the family gets most of the funds. Everyone is wanting a quilt! What a brillant idea!! Thanks to the "6" original. (That's my dad and his siblings)Chistopher and Keara playing hacky sac.
Ashton and Azure
The twins were very entertained by a stroller!
The Fort! This is where the kids hung out the most. If we needed any of them they would be there. They had such a blast! It's nice to let them run and be free!
"Coley Pokei" are nickname we call him. Is sitting on his bench that he made. He's so dang creative just like his father!!
The proud owners of making this fort. Cole, Holly, Ashlynne and Keara.
Sis inlaw Jess with baby Jude. Cute picture of them huh?!
Baby Jude
One of the pass time's is coloring the "theme" of the reunion. We had a lot of art this year to choose from. This is great for the kids! It entertain's them well. Also, the adults. :)
We usually always have a "Vima" shirt for the reunion. This year the theme was "Out of this world". Here is J.C., Kandee and Fran making our shirts for us! They were in charge of the reunion this year. It was such an success! Thank You guys!
My cousin Kemberli,me and Amanda. My cousin and I use to play a lot together when we were kids. We would explore the mountains and make forts. She is the same age as me. It is always so good to see her.
Lady with all smiles! I love it!
Keara, Cole and Kristina. These three run around with each other when we get together. We are missing a picture of Ashlynne who is the same age.
Lady, Meryn and Holly
My little sis Amanda!
Meryn and cousin Holly waiting patiently for the Vima store to open.
Aunt Patti Husted. What a great smile!
Our little neice Lindsay... she was taking a private moment.
You can't tell I take his picture a lot can you?
Ashton would not leave this faucet alone. He thought it was so great.
Azure was having a blast with this ball.

HaPPy 4th OF JuLY

Home SWEET home. I had to take this picture of the flag in front of our home. I love it when the boy scout's come and put up the flag on certain holidays and you see rows of flags in your neighborhood! We are so grateful to live in AMERICA and have our FREEDOM! I am so grateful for all the people who have fought/ fight for our country. We are truly blessed to live in such a BEAUTIFUL country! May God keep blessing our America. So, you might be able to tell we are a very PATRIOTIC family. Our 4th of July was very low key. Both Bryce and I had different surgery's and were not really into celebrating big. But, we did take the kids to Midvale City to check out the big fire trucks. The kids loved it! We then went home bought a "kids" swimming pool and bar-b-cued. We had a great quite family time with our own firework show.

END of Cole's BASEBALL season

Cole's team "THE CUBS".Cole really enjoys baseball. This season he is up with the "Big Dog's". There were a lot more practice's and kids playing hard ball. It is always fun to watch Cole perform. We had a good season. I can't believe how hard core kids and parents are with sports....p.s. I didn't do to well in getting these picture's in order.
I love this picture of Cole...to cute!

waiting to go.... and he's running for 4th base! Go Cole!

Update

It has been so long since we have posted! School ended the last day of May and the weather here in Utah has been rainy!! We had a break last Friday s0 we t00k all the kids and our little "nanny" (Stevie our next door neighbor) to the new water park "Cowabunga". The kids had a blast! That was a very SPECIAL day for Bryce and I; It was our 12 year anniversary! That post will be next. It has been really a crazy summer. RAIN,RAIN, RAIN! We love the rain it is so nice when the earth is cleansed and it smells good. But, good land it is summer time! So, we have been couped up in the house and when that happens...Bryce and I start making home improvements! Maybe that is why it's felt like I have been running around with my head chopped off! :) Well, now this week the SUN is shining and it is so nice to go outside and enjoy the weather. We have a couple of family reunions and maybe a trip to Lake Powell with Bryce's brother Todd and his family. Not to much is going on with us. Just trying to keep the house and children in order. I promised myself that when school ended the children will have more jobs to do and will learn how to clean and make beds... It has been MAJOR babysitting on that end and I feel like I am going crazy sometimes. I don't think that we even get to play with friends until 2pm! But, hopefully all this work will pay off! :)
